The training base is a purpose-built swimming complex on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast, offering both a long-course outdoor pool and a heated indoor pool for structured two-pool rotation regardless of weather. The main pool is a 50m, 8-lane outdoor basin, 20m wide with a depth of 1.8-2.5m, fitted with adjustable starting platforms, false-start indicators, an underwater audio system and 40 underwater lights, and is also equipped for water polo. A second 25m, 6-lane indoor pool, heated to 24-26°C, supports technique work and warm-ups, with both pools sharing a hydrodynamic swim flume for stroke analysis. A separate strength and conditioning gym rounds out the on-site training options. The facility sits on the same grounds as the accommodation, so teams move between training, meals and rest without a bus ride, keeping a stable two-session daily routine.
